Kamal Raïs has a solid background in Private Banking, International Wealth Management and Capital Market. Kamal has over 18 years experiences gained in international banks. Kamal started his carrier in wealth management with BNP PARIBAS in Geneva as Private Banker covering the East African Markets (Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe & Zambia). After few years he joined Barclays Private Bank in Geneva as a Senior Private banker, Member of the Executive Team, Head of West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Angola and Francophone Africa). In 2009, Kamal joins Julius Baer Bank as Senior Private Banker, Global Market Head SubSaharan Africa, based in Geneva. In 2012, Kamal joins Emirates-NBD Bank in Dubai, UAE, as Managing Director, Member of the executive Committee for the Wealth Management and Global Head of Africa.
Since 2015, Kamal is advising several UHNWI, Financial Institutions and Family-owned business on their expansion strategy in Africa and Middle East. Kamal has a strong network with local and international banks, financial institutions, Private Equity Firms and influent UHNWI in Africa, the GCC region and in Europe. Kamal Raïs obtained a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from the CETFI, IAE -Aix en Provence University and a Master’s in Finance from Kedge Business school in Marseille. He is an alumni of Oxford- Said Business school. Kamal Raïs is also an Auditor for the Ministry of Finance of France (CHEDE), a public speaker in several international conference and an external board advisor for several international companies. Kamal Raïs is the CEO of Sentinel First Advisory group.
